On entering the cottage, you step into what was once the old kitchen. The original fireplace is still intact but a wood-burning stove has been added. This is now the sitting/dining room. All rooms on this floor have Liscannor flag flooring. Decor is kept deliberately simple. A small, but adequate, kitchen is off this room with every modern appliance, i.e. washer/dryer, fridge, cooker, dishwasher and microwave. Next to this is a charming family bathroom with large storage cupboard. To the right of the entrance is a double bedroom with original fireplace, a wall-to-wall pine wardrobe with dressing table.

A custom made staircase leads to the old converted attic with double and twin bedrooms, a shower-room and an open area where children can play, or adults watch tv. The owner has gone to enormous lengths to keep exposed the old rough hewn beams. The main bedroom is particularly atmospheric because of this.
